Go to the PAU Online Bookstore

The PAU Library provides print book and eBook collections to help users develop knowledge and skills, explore topics of interest, dive more deeply into content, and investigate research possibilities.

The print book collection is located at the Allen Calvin Campus. Our print book collection includes psychology, counseling, and other behavioral health publications that are not available in electronic format. This collection includes recent titles covering current topics, older seminal works, reference materials, and high-use psychological test manuals. Please refer to our Circulation page for information regarding lending policies. Using the buttons on this page, you may email the librarians to inquire about access or check your library account to view checked-out items and request items that aren't available.

We are actively developing our eBook collection to leverage online availability, which allows us to provide equitable access to the vast majority of our materials for current students, faculty, and staff. Our eBook collection delivers broad, in-depth coverage of topics in psychology, counseling, related behavioral health disciplines, and more! The PAU Library purchases eBooks by subscription and ensures they are available in full-text through the WorldCat Discovery library catalog and/or the PAU databases. Access policies vary and can be viewed for each item by clicking on the full-text link.  Use the buttons on this page to email the librarians if you need any assistance with these materials or to request an unavailable item through your library account.

Textbook Note: The library is unable to purchase most textbooks for online access or checkout through the library. Students may purchase or rent their textbooks through the online bookstore using the link above. Faculty may order copies for themselves and their TAs (if the publisher doesn't provide copies through a "desk copy" process), and then complete a check request through their department manager to request reimbursed.

Step 1: Search the APA PsycTests Database

APA PsycTests is the American Psychological Association's repository of psychological assessment instruments used for research. This database of tests, measures, scales, surveys, and other assessment instruments includes descriptive information about each item and its development and administration, as well as information on how to find it.

When searching APA PsycTests, just click on the title of interest to open the APA PsycTests record and see the full details about the instrument. Some PsycTests records include a link for downloading the item — click on the "Access options" button for a dropdown menu to see if a PDF is available. Otherwise, you can check the record to see if the item is a commercially published test, a measure published in a scholarly journal or book, an instrument available for full-text download online, or an assessment that must be requested by permission from the author(s) and/or publisher.

Use the link below if you need help with searching in this database.

If you're a service member or Veteran and have a disability that was caused—or made worse—by your active-duty service and that limits your ability to work or prevents you from working, you may be eligible to apply and receive tuition & fee benefits for post-secondary training at a university level.  Click here for VR&E eligibility and application requirements.

The Post-911 GI Bill may also include:

     •The Yellow Ribbon Program

     •Transfer Educational Benefits to Dependents(TEB)

Eligibility to Post-911 GI Bill® transfer benefits is determined by the Department of Defense while the payment of benefits is handled by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Department of Defense authorizes individuals who have served at least 6 years in the Armed Forces and who agree to serve at least another 4 years to transfer unused GI Bill® entitlement to their spouse. In addition, when a service member reaches their 10-year anniversary they can choose to transfer the benefit to any dependents – spouse or children.

If you’re a dependent spouse or child—or the surviving spouse or child—of a Veteran, you may qualify for Chapter 35 DEA benefits or through the GI Bill TEB program.
